Our journey began with a simple mission: to craft timeless, luxury Bridal pieces that add a personal touch to your most cherished memories. Inspired by the Gaelic word Ornaigh, meaning "beauty" and "adorn." This term perfectly encapsulates our mission to enhance and celebrate the natural beauty of each client, offering pieces that are as radiant and unique as the individuals who wear them.
As full-time hairstylist, specializing in Bridal Hair, and owner of Topknot Hairstyling, the world of hair accessories and Bridal veils became a natural progression for me. Brides would often turn to me for advice and inspiration for their Bridal accessories. Many times the hair accessories that were purchased elsewhere were too heavy to secure to the hair, or they wished they'd put more thought into it. This led me to find solutions on the spot, digging through Mother of the Bride jewellery boxes and turning special heirloom pieces into hair accessories to elevate the Brides look. In time, and collaborating with my mom as our in house seamstress, our own collection was created and ORNAIGH was born.
One of our most heartfelt services continues to be the creation of custom veils and hair accessories from heirloom pieces. We understand the sentimental value of family treasures and are honoured to help transform these cherished items into stunning accessories that carry their history forward. Whether it’s a vintage brooch, a delicate lace trim, or a piece of jewelry with special significance, we lovingly reimagine these heirlooms into bespoke pieces that honor their history while adding a fresh, contemporary touch.
